G traps are good for ranged (look for the highest rarity of trap, at the lowest price), and cast bathing suits are good for armor.

Oh. I normally pick whichever is prettiest. You may want to clarify what you mean in your first post so others will be able to answer.

Most PMs are pretty bad in combat. I normally just use mine as a shield to distract the enemies while I level whichever PA is lowest at the time.

my striking PM is pretty awesome, she spams tornado dance and the other double saber move that I forgot the name off..

anyway the reason I have to ask this question is, I heard that if I had a lets say 100 striking bot, if I used a tech series on her she would be pretty much useless in combat and not as strong as she should be.. so from that I kinda just worked out to pick one from either of the fighting trends to correspond with the current PM I was using..

but with an armour PM, I am confused, if I pick a tech bot will she be useless? or will she be the same as if my PM was 100 tech? this part is what is confusing me, plus there are no "armour" trend fighitng PM's http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Um, you lost me... "picked a tech series"? You know that PM models are determined when they reach lv80, don't you?

I think he means use the store items? I didn't even know you could change your series like that- but I guess with the new types you'd have to have the option, huh?

I think her striking level 100 only affects her synthing though, I think it's the combat level that decides how useful they are in battle.

yes I know that I have 3 level 100's. what I mean is the PM device you can buy from the NPC to change its fighting trends, there are 3 different fighting trends you can buy, one for striking that uses close combat, one for ranged that uses guns and the last is a tech trend that well, casts lol

I'm confused that if I use a "tech" trend fighting bot on my 100 armour PM, she would not be as usefull as if used that series on my 100 tech bot.

hope thats a little easier to understand I'm sorry http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

well if the PM has a high enough Battle experience it can change it's look and fighting style. The actual synth stats will stay the same however *is not 100% sure on this but is pretty sure*

Personally with may ranged PM I tried a couple types and the basic one seemed to work the best with me. She heals me alot and she is a good support.

so I can pick a tech fighting trend for my lv 100 armour bot, and she will be good? (so long as I get her battle exp up)

That confused me more x_x

Hope teh pozzum answered it for you... Since you said you know that the synth stats only affect synthing, I'm lost as to what your question is.

I think it's something like if you get it up to like 20 you can change it into anything you want *still not sure* but I think it's less for certain ones... I know I've seen a list somewhere... I don't really know I wish I could help you more.

Ooo I remember the list... and I happen to be bored ATM, I'll see if I can find it and I'll edit the post to add the link when I do ^_^

Edit 1: yeah your combat stat has to be a certain level to change out of the group of 10s that you are in.

actually no, there's a list somewhere of what your combat level has to be to change to each pm class...

Dec 8, 2007, 10:45 PM
wait, I have to have a combat level to change to certain class's? I never knew that, I knew my bot had to be 80 in its synth before I could feed it one, but I never knew about the battle level!!

wow, if you find the link to that I would love you http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

its to hard to find info about this game http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

Oh, I see what your problem is.

You can only have a model of the type of how you raised it. If you make a pure striking PM, it'll always be a 41x, for instance. When you give it an evolution kit, it must always be a 41x type (x=0,1,2,3,4,5). You can't give it a 42x evolution kit, as it won't do anything.
To counter this, PSUjp is just now getting 4yx kits, which turns your PM into a different model completely. Using these, based on your PM's combat level, you may be able to turn them into a completely different model, including the 46x series and new male PM models.

armour pm took me 4 feeds, and cost 1mil, go to the cast part shop @ the coleny, scroll to bottom of the list (male parts) there is a robe thing I forgot its name, costs 2500 atm with the 50% of parts rewards.

@ Zorafim
