Just wondering if anyone knew what is going to happpen with all those poor casts who are stuck with nothing new

Casts, like every other race, do very well as either of the Acro- classes. There's nothing really to worry about.

Sonic Team has not released any information on an "Acrogunner" or any new gunner class, though Gunmaster was discovered in the offline data and 3 new classes will be released early next year on the Japanese version. So we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

I wasn't aware that CASTs were specifically told they were not allowed to use any of the new content.

EDIT: Also, there are 3 new SUVs, with at least 2 more that are going to be released in the future.

the gunner type with fast ranged weapons is guntecher (even with no speed boost), there would be no point in an acrogunner...
and casts are not stuck to fortegunner, they can be whatever they want, they are also quite good hunters

Check the earlier pages of either of the "Official Acro- Threads". Both began with an anti-Cast/Beast bias among the majority of testers on the JP beta, so it wouldn't surprise me if those statements fostered an illusion that Casts would suck at both. I mean, both classes have high EVP and TP and Casts are the lowest on both, so at face value alone you'd assume Casts aren't that great.

guntech is a hybrid class the fact of the matter is that theres no class in the expansion for gunners hear me out on this

Acrofighters can do well without using Shadoogs...which are the only TP dependent thing they have. CASTs make fine Acrofighters...they aren't the best Acrotechers, but that's expected of them.

there's no point in acrogunner...what weapons would it have? basically the same as guntecher (in terms of ranged weapons)...
acrofighter is an expert in fast melee, acrotecher is an expert in support techs and fast melee and offensive techs, guntecher uses support techs and fast guns...

It's actually pretty easy to do well at either Acro-class regardless of race. That's why I used the qualifier "at face value alone". It was really more of a joke than anything else.

The reason for this is because how strong guns are, they already deal about 700-800 DPS in most cases and you want to make it faster so it is 1200-1300? It is just simply to avoid overpowering and have a diversity in classes instead of everyone being the strongest in the game

Once again, these are all also very powerful weapons and if they were faster it would be overpowered
2nd. The rifle shoots pretty fast last time I checked and leveled up does more damage than most other weapons

It is a good thing they cant have 50% for their own sake, they would have to buy multiple of the same gun in different elements

Gunners have not been nerfed (IE Shotgun kicks some serious ass, GT kicks some serious ass, ect), and no we don't need an acrogunner class <<;.

And I'm a CAST AT, I do quite extremely well in a class considered a techer class <<;

well, even if there was an acrogunner class with faster shooting, it would only have crossbow, handgun, card, machinegun, shadoog and twin handgun for ranger weapons. The other acroclasses the only 2 handed weapons they have are 1 weapon for each hand and not big weapons that use 2 hands (like swords, spears, axe, shotgun, grenade, bow, rifle, and so on...)

Yes I know how bullets work, I have a fortegunner and try to tell me that is fair to everyone else who has to make/buy 50% elemental weapons when you just spam to get them and they are interchangable between one weapons

They are harder to make because they require Im-photons which lower success of any weapon, if you could make them an element it would be the same as anything else
And if they are so much more expensive then how about you go out and buy a 50% of every element on a high rank weapon and tell me how 'cheap' it is

New weapons...so change to a new class? Every class got a new weapon except Protransers if I remember correctly.

i never siad that it would be cheap to buy 50% weps however the fact that im photons lower sucess of any wepon is an untrue anystriking weapon will be lowered by im photons and el photons but rods and wands must use el photons and guns must use im photons which dont lower the percent of making them at all

It does, notice you dont have a choice, its like kubara weapons have a lower chance of success than other weapons of the same * if they are kubara only, if you had a choice of photon it would be higher for other photons because im and el lower it. It is logical if you just think about it for a minute instead of assuming and complaining about everything

BASIC CLASSES
Hunter
Ranger
Force

EXPERT CLASSES
fortefighter (basically a complete hunter class)
fortegunner (a complete ranger class)
fortetecher (a complete techer class)
fighgunner (combination hunter/ranger, highest level hunter)
guntecher (combination ranger/ techer, highest level ranger)
wartecher (combination hunter/force, highest level force)
protranser (combination hunter/force/techer, even levels for all)

HYBRID CLASSES
acrofighter (combination ranger/hunter, highest level ranger)
acrotecher (combination ranger/techer, highest level techer)

as I said before, it seems like every possible combination of the classes is covered (except for a hunter/techer combo that has a higher level for hunter) so really rangers can't complain- technically it seems that although acrofighter is called "fighter" it is still aimed at rangers.

u make a valid point although it is a weak one because it has nothing to do with what i was arguing which was my piont that no gunner has hightened reflexes good point still on ur part and its also a truth

Well it was hard to tell what your point was for this thread, considering you start off saying you wonder about casts, but later say that "gunners" don't have anything, and yet later you remind people that not all gunners are casts. It would be easier if you actually knew what your own point was before you started a thread...
