I'll let you know on that far off date when I can get those boosts to 31. It's enough effort to get Twin Handguns to 31 and I use them like they go out of style (in comparison). Hopefully a nice AT, who has already made level 31 buffs, can answer this. As I know how popular *heh heh. Ahh HAHAHAHAHAH!!!!* buff techs are with this crowd.

All buffs work the same.

They gain another level every 10 levels.

so lvl1 will have lvl 1 buffs

level 11 will have level 2 buffs and so on. Lvl 30, 40, and 50, are the same as lvl 21, 31, and 41.

there has been proven me that there is a SLIGHT difference in attack between levels 31-40, but hardly any and its not worth your time trying to lvl it up that far http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

i do not know how long buffs last though.... also GI-resta should also work the same way as buffs do

They go up to LV4 boost at LV31+, but I'm not certain about the LV41+ boost. I haven't really leveled mine much offline.

Zodial (and Retier) work the same as Shifta and Deband.

Auto-recovery LV3 is received at Giresta LV21+; it never goes past LV3, however.

I think the LV3 auto recovery lasts for four minutes; same with LV3 buffs. Don't quote me on that, though. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

Giresta is lvl 3 @ 31+

Buffs last about a minute or two longer than it's 21+ counterpart at lvl 4

Level 4 is about an increase of 5%? It's a significant difference when u start stacking it up against huge number PAs.

buff/debuff
lv1 -> 10 = +11%/-11%
lv11 -> 20 = +15%/-15%
lv21 -> 30 = +19%/-19%
lv31 -> 40 = +23%/-23%

I do find myself running away from force when they try to buff me with lv6 buffs when I had megistaride on.

Alright, thanks for all of the replys.

I know that a LV1 Boost lasts for two minutes. My buff spells are currently LV14 just from normal usage. I'm planning to do some AFK buff party leveling soon and wanted to know how high I should go. I was especially curious as to whether or not I would be able to replace my Tero / HP Restore unit with Giresta's Auto Recovery LV3.

Off-topic: The only thing I don't like about not having mission timers in AoI is that I can't use them to time my buffs. It was nice being able to see when my two minutes was almost up so I didn't go running into a room full of enemies only to have my buffs wear off in the midst of battle.

There is no reason for a force to have a HP Restore unit in a slot. I cringe every time I see this. There are plenty of other slot units that will benefit you more than this one as a force.

That said, Giresta's auto recovery is awesome! You will be able to replace your unit.

As for timing of your buffs, as you use them in missions, you will get a feel for when they are becoming "stale" and you have to refresh them. I leveled mine to 30 "au natural" thus I have the knack (like Bernie!) for knowing when they are about to wear off.

Oh yeah, offline....as a hunter you can cast Giresta on yourself.

Offline and online are pretty much night and day...

Offline and online are pretty much night and day...Yeah, I don't know what I would do if I had to play as an online class. I hate relying on others for support.

Carry loads of Magistarides, Antimates and Trimates is what you would do!

You'd fit right in as an online Fighgunner!

LOL, you really f'ed up that quote.

For the record, I only spam Tornado Dance on Gaozorans, Jusnaguns, Jarbas, Bil de Vears, other large annoying enemies, and bosses. Most everything else get to taste my LV50 Tornado Break.

idk about 360, but I don't know the last time I saw a fighgunner ever use Tornado Dance at the wrong time. In fact, I don't know when I last saw a fighgunner... they all became acrofighter newbs

as for buffs, simply put, a level 1 buff is better than no buff. But if someone has a higher level, let them buff the party!

Here's a question, Why should I lv my Buffs/Debuffs past 41? (just pretend that the final cap is already online while you awnser it)

According to what SolRiver said, lv 31 or 40 deals the same percentage anyway.
