Can you buy AoTI on the Xbox and play it with people online without having the original PSU?

The Xbox 360 version is available via Marketplace download only, and requires the original game's disc in order to run.

If you play on pc you don't need the original to play AotI ~ the DVD contains the whole game + the expansion.

The two games are installed separately, so you could play either one. However, once you log on to your online account with the expansion, it is turned into an expansion account and can no longer connect from the original version of PSU (this should not effect offline, though).
