newman V.S. human?

My friend wants to delete his lvl 110 female human FT to make a newman so he can do the most damage as FT.

Is it really worth lvling up all over again? does anyone have the stats for both race/class combinations as lvl 110? or 100?

Um, Start a new character instead of deleting the old one? Change the human to an Acro or something.

Not at all worth it. People act like the racial difference is like 734578934698534 damage per shot.

I mean, if he's a min/maxer then yeah I guess, but I wouldn't do it. You won't gain that much.

I wouldn't bother, if anything do what FnalKnight suggested, keep the 110, change classes and transfer PA's. No point in erasing everything.

yea he'll do it for sure. its a bigger boost than we thought XD

yes but them 300tp add's maybe 100-300 damage max @ 110 / 15, I don't think its worth it personally.. then again, I am making a newman just for the sake of being a FT when I already have a human over lv 100.. so maybe it is a good choice

IF he does delete a 110 just for the sake of this, remind him to put all his PA's to disc then wack em to his new char so he doesnt have to lv them again haha + he will lv alot faster due to the uber damage output he will be doing @ lv 1

Using that calculator, the TP difference at 110 and job level 15 is only about 300 in favor of newman. I doubt the difference in damage over time will be more than a percent or two. The newman also has roughly 500 less HP, which makes a squishy character even squishier. Can't cast at all when you're dead.

You can have four characters and there is no additional monthly feel, his Human can change his/her class and be fine. Besides the level 110 can be used to get things easier for his new character, put it in the common box and work that way. He's not rational. I would kill for a level 110 character no matter was race it was.

yeah but 300 tp doesnt ranslate into as huge a boost in spells as one would think, supposedly its less than atp. best idea is not to delete but to make another. keep in mind also that human is the second best tp, so theres only one class with more

Here's a question: If he cares so much about max tech damage, why didn't he go newman from the start?
My F human is 104 or so, and I've always felt fine. I definitely wouldn't start all over again.

Qft. You'll be gaining alot of TP but your mortality will drop on such a curve that its not worth it by time time your 110.

300TP is not worth what you lose in HP and DFP. There's something to be said for Human Fortetechers.

If that stat calculator is right (I heard it wasn't) then 110/15 F Human FT is basically like using a lv.80ish/15 F Newman FT in terms of TP power.

In a game where tech damage is currently the lowest form of damage output you'll want the most TP possible if you prefer killing things with techs and your friend said it himself he wants to do the more damage as FT but deleting a lv.110 character is a bit extreme. Just PA disk save and make a newman in another slot if he actually cares that much.

With the exp boost starting over isn't that bad compared earlier days but its something I still wouldn't do and a big waste of time imo. That 110 Human can be any class besides FT easily. Just make the Human a Fortefighter. The FF gets all the rarz without much effort and donates them to the new upcoming FT if need be. Win/win.

Well, I thought that FTs of all races had their HP really foyed up badly anyway, regardless of race. But yeah, don't delete that lv 110/15 Human, just make a Newman alt and make that a FT if she's into stats. But yeah, Human can do any job just fine, that's why they're the best job ever.

When you cap your class and get past the level 80 mark you see gains in your classes specialty of 2-5's. I could've sworn I saw someone with a screencap as a fT getting only 2 tp at level 99. It's still about 200-300 TP difference. Just get a TECH unit and you'll be fine.

By the time your slow moving Diga gets near the mob he's dead anyway. Highest TP only really benefits you when you solo, and that's nothing to brag about. Last I checked PSU was a party game.
