(Import Gaming) Just my luck...

I'm one of those huge game importers who looks for rare JP RPG/Strategy games for the PS/PS2, and just my luck I buy games where there has been no FAQ. I do write my own but they are they aren't neat and organized like the ones on GAMEFAQs. *sigh* I do understand some Japanese but not a whole lot. ;_;

I'd suggest learning more Japanese if you intend to import. I would'nt find much satisfaction playing a game and seeing a handful of words that I don't know(or a story I could'nt follow).

I grew up playing videogames, and often times I learnt new words and so on from reading the game manuals or the story; which was always cool. I'd definitely use the experience of importing as a means to constantly improve your Japanese(as I'm sure you are).

You might try looking further than Gamefaqs though, there might be other fans out there who imported and have setup guides on their own fansites.
