CHRISTMAS LOBBIES RETURN TO GURHAL

Christmas is coming, and lobbies have been decorated for the winter holidays, awaiting your visit. How about preparing a special present for your close friends? You may also see a special seasonal creature in some missions.
1UP PLATINUM CUP REWARDS

The 1UP Platinum Cup event rewards will continue until 12/21. Please check the "1UP Platinum Cup" event page for details.
NEW MISSIONS (AMBITION OF THE ILLUMINUS ONLY)
Hill of Spores C to S: Mission Counter: Shikon Islands: Tanze Route

Photon levels are extremely high in the Habirao Forbidden District. The area is closed to protect people from photon poisoning. As a scout for the GUARDIANS you must enter the area and clear it of dangerous creatures.
Dancing Birds C to S: Mission Counter: Habirao F.D: Village

The SEED and the high photon density in the Habirao Forbidden District have caused an outbreak of rare mutant Rappies, lead by a huge Rappy. Defeat the giant Rappy king!
NEW ITEMS (AMBITION OF THE ILLUMINUS ONLY)

For the struggling GUARDIANS to restore order in the chaos caused by the Illuminus attacks, they will need to be stronger then ever before. New high-rank weapons and shields can be found in the strange Habirao forest area that has just opened for exploration.

New color variations for Male/Female clothing sets and CAST parts are available in stores. The Mikumiko set and CAS-miko parts are available as random rewards from the offering box in the NEUDAIZ Ohtoku Temple lobby above the Pavilion of Air.

New My Room items are now available in the variety shop and for exchange in the Casino. Some existing Casino items will no longer be available, but will return in rotation.
BALANCE UPDATE

TECHNIC Speed Adjustment: The speed in attack TECHNICS cast has been rebalanced, mostly to improve their performance and balance at high levels (PA level 21-40), although some attack TECHNICS will cast slower than before at low levels (PA level 1-10). For example, at levels 1-10 the TECHNIC Foie was adjusted from 0.1 to 0.2 seconds, and at levels 31-40 it was adjusted from 0.4 to 0.3 seconds.

Although most support TECHNICS were untouched, there are small changes to Resta, Reverser, Gi-Resta, Regrant, and Megistar.

RA- TECHNIC Target Adjustment: Along with improved speeds, the RA- TECHNICS will now affect four targets at PA Level 31-40

Rod TECHNIC Power Adjustment: All TECHNICS are boosted 20% when cast with a Rod.

I like the new layout. It looks more organized and cleaner.

The site update was a very welcome change. I really like it. Made for a nice surprise when I got home late last night; only I was too tired to appreciate it until now. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

It seems to lag less, and it's easier to find info on. GG, SoA.

So Techs on a Rod will boost by 20% 0_o? Isn't Diga lv30 already like 280%? OH, how thankful I am that my Howrods and Halarod are still in my inventory/storage and not in the shrine box.

Although most support TECHNICS were untouched, there are small changes to Resta, Reverser, Gi-Resta, Regrant, and Megistar

Regrant is not a support tech, is it? Do ATs get it to level 40? Also, what changes are going to me made to regrants - that tech is good as is.

Finally, why not un-nerf megiverse, I'm not sure why they are even thinking about megistar.

Also, what's the deal with rod techs? they get 20% boost no matter what, or is he 20% an increase from the 12% is the 20% elemental in nature, or non elemental.

THE PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wink.gif

I just hope this doesn't mean that they are going to make Giresta as expensive and slow as before. Frankly I love it more than Resta as it is now. I always fear TECH rebalances.

Right, Regrant is an attack TECHNIC. I found it odd that they grouped it specifically with the support category there.

I would guess because it's a "white" spell they grouped it with the rest of its kind, but megistar is dark, isn't it? So... I really don't know. Peculiar, indeed.

On the comic:
I'm talking bout the horrendous script quality ("He blew himself up!" Thanks sherlock.). Before i thought they were just terrible writers, but the unofficial translation that was done by a few members here at PSOW had a great script. I'm pretty sure (read: hoping) that means that the crap-script is just because of the translating. Which is understandable, since it means its SoA's fault. Either that or the translators here just took liberties with the comic.

I had to take a few liberties when I translated the script for our version, but overall I stuck extremely close to the original script.

And since you brought up Leo's "He blew himself up!" line, in the original, Leo just kind of grumbled that the CAST was a suicide bomber. I guess SEGA of America just wanted to make it sound "nicer" or something. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Hm, any chance that's why the script was so bad for Ep2? It actually seems to be getting better for Ep3... and there's no excuse for ep1 (script and story-line both). That was just painful.
