Most melee normal attack animations are different between genders

EDIT: "all" to "Most" since I recall axe being the same on both genders (not 100% on this). Also, I added clarification to what I said.

Most, if not all, normal swings of weapons are different between genders. Most PAs are uniform between both sexes, but a small few have different animations (off the top of my head, I can only think of Majarra's first hit and Danga's last hit).

Twin claws apparently have a disadvantage with males, only doing five hits total instead of six.

oh females hit more?

thats probably just because female newmans were like the first to use them http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Yeah, because i concluded today that the twin daggers animation looks totally better on males. IMO

we need to get some video evidence in here, because i have really not seen a difference with the normal attack animations.

Get someone of your job and opposite gender, and have them use your normal weapons. The difference is quite staggering.

Just roll up a new character, any race, opposite gender. Take out the saber and look at the third strike. Side strike vs. overhead strike = clear difference.

The only things I can think of that don't differ are Spears and Twin Sabers.

since I've gotten AOI, I've also noticed that with twin daggers and single claws have a different animation on my female chars.

Yeah, twin dagger and single claw attack animations have changed a bit between regular and AoI (on female characters at least)..
