Why is Wartecher weapon selection so horrible?

I was thinking about being a wartecher, but after looking at the weapon selection i just laughed and decided to stick with FF. Does anyone know if they will be getting a weapon change or anything?

Actually, WTs have a huge weapon selection. If you want to be a FF with a Buff/Resta wand, that class doesn't exist. The downside to being a hybrid is that you loose the strongest features of each class.

But yes, amtalx is correct. WT is the best melee type class with access to resta/heals. So you gotta give up some melee weapon access to balance things out.

I see two people in this topic that want the express line to being banned.

WT weapon selection is a copy/paste from FF and FT. Minus 3-4 weapons from both. Nothing wrong with the selection.

Actually, WT weapon selection is quite good. It allows the equipping of just about every striking type, two good ranged weapons and the ability to use techs. In addition, JP side, there's an update to selection that allows for the use of S grade twin claws and fists, so they have about the same amount of S grades to use as everyone else.
