I think it is lvl 1-10 (SE 1) lvl 11-20 (SE 2) lvl 21-30 (SE 2 still) lvl 31- 40 (SE 3) Killer shot is the only one with SE 4

Stays at Incapacitate level 3, according to JP Wiki.

I'm wondering if I should bother getting it, myself. I've got a good handful of technics, and find that Dam/Ramegid fills my Dark needs fairly handily. Is the incapacitate a lot better now, with the lowered enemy stamina?

I rather liked megid offline, it was pretty powerful and penetrated, not to mention the chance of instakill, but from what I hear it's damn expensive online (I can't run higher ranks yet, so I have zero frags), so I likely won't bother with it.

Yes, KO is pretty good. KS is better for it though.

I'm actually leveling Megid right now http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

I would guess so. Last I saw someone use Megid 21+ now, it did seem fairly effective on small enemies.

Was 50PP at level 1-10 before the Pre-AoI update. Now It's 20pp at level 1-10.

By expensive, I meant to buy, not the pp cost.

It's 99 fragments. You can get that with S rank on 10 parts of story missions, 99 S runs, or 50 S2 runs. If you can get a decent group, you can easily get Usafe Passage S2 down to a few minutes, making it possible to get those 50 runs done in less than a week.

It actually gets lv3SE at lv21, but doesnt raise again at 31.

At 31+ it's simply wider...I think it's faster? and has more range

The only thing I ever found megid good for was the sinows in PSO:BB :/ But since it does dmg now and not just instakills it may be pretty good. I like Ramegid tho good source of dark dmg (I was very fond of Ra spells so I mastered how to use them) Plus now the boost comming for Ra spells up to 4 targets gives more of an incentive to use it.

It's quite a bit wider...my level 31 Megid does about 1400 damage per Light enemy and does a pretty good job of OHKing small enemies (Badira and Golmoro...helps a ton in SW S2). If you're going to take the time to level it...definitely buy it. Be warned though, it takes just about as long as Barta/Zonde to level.

Offline TECHNICS are different from online. For instance, I believe the buffs stay at SE3 offline, whereas they are SE4 online...and in the AotI JP beta they went to SE5 at 41 (I think).

If you get Megid for anything, get it for it's damage. At level 40 it has a 175% technique modifier, which is the highest technique modifier for any Dark tech. In other words, no other Dark technique in the game can out damage Megid and in most situations Megid even out damages several other techniques including all Gi-techs.

It's superior damage combined with the instant kill perk makes Megid one of the ultimate offensive choices for techers in this game.

Yeah the instant-kill is just a bonus, it shouldn't be your top priority with the move. The damage mod is really good and for multiple enemies it does very good group damage. Most enemies line-up nicely anyways when appoarching you making it easy to take advantage of the full damage potential.

Really awesome when solo'ing or playing in groups that don't knock enemies all around.

Megid gets to be very effective at level 21, it kills 1 out of 3 small enemies in a single blow, and 1 out of 6 medium (proven it on boomas and goboomas), it hits a lot better than bartha or zonde, and it look pretty darn cool. The best way to level it up is to use it against many enemies at a time, so sleeping warriors and sakura blast are good places to raise the level faster.
