I can't use "Vanishing point" on CS 1 D:<

I can't make my images look as if they have a "vanishing point" that fades into the horizon.

in CS3, i can take an image apply a "vanishing point" on it, insert an outside image and it can LOOK AS IF it were on that plane

That's what my "3D design class" was, how I learnt (heh learnt not a word) this thing. Don't remember much else though.
