congrats! I did the same thing on DC v1... I had dupes, and I dumped them into a passworded game I created (called Burn EM!! lol), then logged out of the game.

Man, I got so sick of all those BSODs early on, that... well... I discovered a method of duplicating items, by backing my character up by uploading the character file to my email with the DC browser. After 2 of my friends got RSOD (reset screen), I went off for a few minutes, brought back my "duped character", and spread the goodness to everybody with his nice collection of stuff (mostly legit items). From there... things got a little darker. Eventually, I was loaded with illegal items, and damned if it didn't ruin the entire PSO experience for me.
One day, I decided to erase EVERY one of them and start almost from scratch... One of the best things I've ever done on PSO.

This happened to lesser extent on V2, although I never duped one item on that version. After accepting one too many dupes, I decided one day to erase EVERY one of them... I haven't accepted Jack Schitt on the GCN version as far as rares, and I'm havin' a blast. Every dupe user I've ever known has gotten sick of the game very quickly, while I'm still playing after two years.

because they dont know how rare it really is, how much fun and thrill they missed finding it in a legal way and because they are not serious pso-players. its a good thing people like those leave pso because they 'got tired of it' (mostly they havent even noticed they killed the fun in that game by themselfes...)

online i only use weapons that i have found and are legit... offine i couldn't care less what anybody else did...

as long as other peoples games aren't affect by hacked/duped weapons then thats cool... i rarely play my DC PSO any more but when i want to lvl up offline then i'll use my 180% spread, as long as its not hurting anybody else then whats the problem? but now that ST have fixed the horrific EXP problems of v2, i doubt that i'll have to do this when i get my copy of GC PSO...

i havent found all that many rares cuz i normaly play in normal...lol...anyway i have rares that my friends give so i trade and stuff and get more so im not exsactly l33t in your eyes i geuss or am i l33t...please tell me...lol..any way i have some stuff that might be duped but i dont know if it is so im not ganna dump all my weps cuz they just might be duped id only dump em if i duped em or if some came up to me and sayed "hi this is the rarest item in the game and its duped so ill give it to u" id just say no or take it and dump it...so what would u guys do...dump em or keep em...im ganna keep em i just wanna hear what u would do

Glad to know you are enjoying being legit. I'll admit it, I wasen't legit at first. I accepted 0/60/60/60 weapons in V.1. When I did get V.2 I was fully legit, and had a lot more fun that way. I plan on keeping it that way in GC PSO.
