now, i did kill this thing be4 as my character... but if memory serves right i was down to jack shit and was shitting my pants at the last seconds of his life... but now my friend had asked me to beat it for him and i cant seem to do it after like 10 tries! any tips on how to beat this guy.....?

Seriously, its attacks come too fast at you and it's very difficult (and I don't think its worth the trouble) to dodge them.

huh? He's not very hard for FOs. Just bring a lot of fluids, because your Rafoie does very little damage compared to V. Hard.

You forget, FOs can target him when he's floating next to the boat. And I'd imagine it'd be really easy for a RA with a decent gun.

How I hate this thing. What is your char? I am a HUcast and was unable to beat it at level 113 or so, where I had probably already done so on the DC. My main problem with it is not having enough healths to make it through the fight. If you've got 10 Difluid and 10 trifluid and resta as well, you can darn well live forever so long as you have the HP to take his strongest hit and not die.

I like the Vjaya advice, so long as you have meseta to burn...literally. At 10,000 a swing it's a hefty bit to be spending down there.

But what also seems to work well are Special Slicers. They don't damage like a sword, but they go along and strike every single section.
-Rappy Fan (found by all IDs)
-Slicer of Assassin/Diska of Braveman--these are EZ to trade for because the people who DO get them, get about a billion, and don't want them.
-Giest or a HP draw type Diska. Replenish your HP or TP with just a few swings

At 122, I'm thinking about going back armed with the above plans. Post what happens/what you use?

I beat him around level 94 with my HUmar.. Only used a Red Handgun+50 and just cast Resta when I was hit. It took a while, but he couldn't kill me, I literally could've gone six hours in the fight.. I didn't use a single mate and only a couple difluids.

I found that the first section of his body tends to take more damage than his head.. so I shoot it constantly when he is at the side, when he lands on the ship hit him a few times then dodge his attack, hit him again, dodge etc.

It only took me a few minutes to kill him with my FOmar and the almighty Gi-zonde... But i feel with u... It really is frustrating when u get stuck like that... Just try to level up, and if u have the ability to use resta... Do so... Eventually, time will kill him, even if u do minimal damage.
