Over the course of the pass year and a half, i have been subjected to many clever ways of being forced to view this video on youtube.

It is now rapidly approaching 3.5 million views and i still fail to grasp the entertainment concept behind it.

It's because it's a song that once you hear, you can't get it out of your head. Expecially if you were growing up when this song came out. Hello nostalgia.

The mid-80's. It was a number one hit all over the world basically; so anyone who grew up in the 80's knew this song instantly.

No one cool Rick Rolls anymore. Once G4TV World of Warcraft players got ahold of it, it pretty much died.

Is that not what it is?

I'm still upward nose snobbing towards Dizzy for his link of this RickRoll thing that was flash based and made the browser move around and not let you click X out, then if you did you get Messages of the lyrics on the screen in the middle.

And then some noobman here did it again weeks later.

It was a flash video, but Java controls the pop-ups (if its what I'm thinking it was).

It was a flash video, but Javascript controls the pop-ups (if its what I'm thinking it was).

Java and javascript are two different languages. (even if they are similar in many respects.)
