I've seen plenty on Scarred Planet, though they'll show up anywhere rappies would. =X

rappy noels, whatever, in what quest are you most likely to encounter them? (at a level where they drop dagger of serafi). thx!

Mad Creatures, Sleeping Warrior and Linear Line were the hunting spots last year but, It seem like the spawns aren't occuring as often (if at all) this season. I guess I switch to Scarred Planet like everyone else. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I fought two of them on a B ranked mission in the Guardians Colony.
They each gave away Christmas Trees, but I was with another player and he took it. >_<

Luck can be fickle. I think it usually is, in fact. While I 'piped rare maps...

60 minutes of Scarred Planet A = 0 Rappies
90 minutes of Lightning Beasts A = 0 Rappies

20 minutes of Unsafe Passage C = 4 Rappies [2 Serafi Feather, 2 Christmas Tree]

Try Lightning Beasts. Rare maps seem incredibly common there. However, don't expect anything other than a Christmas Tree or a rappy feather.

i've spammed LL S2 for 2 days, seen 2 sets of 2 today only. They droped 1 tree and 3 rappy feathers, grrrr... give me a [B] lol. If your hunting rappies best to try AOI content if you can, i hear AOI has better rates of rappy maps and drops.

Even if they're common in lightning beasts... it just took me 50 minutes to solo to the spawn point. And of course, for nothing.

50 minutes? As what job?
As a fF, it takes me 25~30 minutes if doing Map A, but that's after getting used to it. It takes a while, but as you can see, I've seen a lot of rappies in a small amount of time.
