Make sure your kill the Rappy Igg FIRST, if you kill the other monsters before it, it flys away.

If your like me and didnt know this, now you do.

BTW i just lost a rappy igg on S because of this.

Doesn't it always fly away?

Umm, when I got an Igg spawn on S, I beat it last. It flew away, but that's just how it escapes. All rappies escape. You probably got a crappy drop from it and didn't realize you beat it or something.

Hahaha. Also notice how it flies away on the minimap as a dead enemy dot?

I got a igg...only dropped steamed milk.

BEWARE. IGG IS A MAMMAL.
A BIG MAMA RAPPY MAMMAL.

The last, and currently only, Igg spawn I got didn't seem to do that... I'm pretty sure I killed it...? Hm...

It's kinda lame if it DOES fly away after one kills any other enemy, though.

If it does run away, it would be awesome. It would be like the old PSO rappy experience all over again.

"OMG! I KILLED A RARE RAPPY!!" Sit there and look at it in a carnivorous way.

.. All Rappies fly away.

If you knew anything about PSO, you'd know when you 'kill' a Rappy, it falls over, faking death, then gets up & runs away. You have to hit it as its running to get it to drop something/ I havent seen the rappies on PSU yet, since ive been away for a while, but knowing ST, they made the rappies do something similar to that.

I guess I would agree in that regard, assuming that the fleeing Igg can still be attacked while running away, dropping an item like the PSO rappies could...

Not that it can, or does, or if it even runs away at all... eep...

EDIT: By 'run away at all' I meant what initially started this thread with the running away when any other enemy is killed.

The big rappies don't have a target area when they're flying away. I sat there and unloaded my rifle and I didn't here a hit sound.

That's probably just the death animation; Rappy Guggs do the same thing, and you can't hit it while it flies away, either.

Yes i know all that stuff that you already said. I played PSO i know all about rappys. Im saying i never killed it. it just flew away. I killed all the rappy noels and picked up there drops. then i killed the rappy gugg, and as soon as he died, it said trial cleared, i had not killed the rappy igg yet.

well thats probably why you didn't get to kill it. It doesn't count as a "normal" spawn. So, the noels take the place of the poleks and gugg is still there. So when you defeat them the mission is over. Igg can just leave. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif

I still don't understand why one would kill the yellow bird first instead of the giant pink rare one.

Maybe because it's a common strategy to kill the weakest enemies first?

Or stare at the rarest pink one.
