In my country, most TV commercial periods lasts like, 20 min....

Imagine, you're watching your favorite movie and suddenly it gets cut, and you're watching some dumb commercials for next 20 minutes until movie will start again... It's so fucked up....

I'd much rather have one single 20 minute commercial break than ten 5 minute commercial breaks within the show. At least with that one long break I have time to take a dump and fix something to eat.

But yes, Jared commercials piss me off almost as much as TRY THIS NEW OXICLEAN WHILE I YELL AT YOU IN A HORRIBLY ANNOYING VOICE! or Head-On commercials.

You know, commercials are the one thing I don't miss about American TV... We have the army network here, and the commercials have convinced my 0% body fat 5 year old that he is obese and going to die.

I'd take the Jared commercials... although I can imagine low budget commercials insinuating men who love their women buy them jewelry would piss off most men.

There is a commercial for a local Toronto business called "Olivers Diamonds" and it consists of the owner telling us how much he wants our diamonds.

I'd be pissed if my beau bought me a car or jewelry for Christmas, because a car is the gift that keeps on taking, with insurance and all that jazz, and jewelry... meh it's just not worth the hefty price tag.

Well in the channel I watch, 90% of the commercials are either Alcholic Drinks or Perfumes, which I don't mind because most of the time they're very amusing and creative.
