What's that? People are saying you can't compete on Ultimate? Can't hit the enemies? Phluck that! Just make a mag with around 40 MST! Then you can pump the rest on POW and DEX, making you VERY well off in Ult. Having a 20/80/60/40 mag will have you quite set... and you most likely won't have to use any ATA slots a short while later...
Now I say 40 MST because HUnewearls need MST only to an extent... their weapon usage compensates for the low MST, but S/D is not rated on how high MST is, but by the level of S/D... and although they have high attack techs, they aren't all that necessary. Would you use level 20 foie on a Sinow Blue, or a Red Handgun/Yamato/etc.? You tell me...
SO, all HUnewearls, I strongly advise you NOT to push your MST beyond 45... you'll be quite well off in the long run if you do so...
45 MST? I think that's still too much. My Nidra's stats are 25/110/40/25 and I'm doing real good in Ultimate. Since s/d/j/z aren't MST dependent you shouldn't really worry about it when you get to higher levels. The only 'attack' tech I use is Rabarta, and that's only to freeze enemies not damage them.
But I guess I agree with Haterade's point. Don't waste too much MAG stats on MST.
Meh. Being a RAmar, with super-high ata, I cannot even comprehend the word "miss" except in the meaning of "fair game."

Yeah, I agree. MST is not so big a deal once you hit like 100 or so, maybe earlier. Every level I've gotton since has switched my POW and MST bonuses. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif I liked the +7 POW and +4 MST better than the +4 POW and +7 MST. It's not too difficult to snag up some angel/mind++ for boosting to use the lv 20 disks on stuff. s/d/j/z are the only things that seem to be useful in ult anywho.
[Edit: I've got an offline only lv115 Whitill on a 3rd party memory card because I am retarded. I don't want to risk corrupting her, so I started a new one. ^_^]

My RAmarl never misses. Stand in front of that circle and let's see how good she is.

Low ATA, what low ATA? I've been using 2 God/Arm since level 1 and at level 160, ATA is currently at (190).

Only two God/Arm, eh? That's only 30 bonus. HUnewearl will only naturally have 147 ATA by level 200, where as her maximum is 199.
Since you're not level 200 yet, you being 40 levels off, you must have alot of DEX on your mag.
At level 200, with two God/Arm's, you'd have 177 ATA. Therefore, you'd need a 44 DEX mag to compensate to get maximum ATA.
I'm willing to bet you must have a whole lot more than that on your mag, or else your base ATA doesn't make sense with just 2 God/Arm at level 160. ;p

Hmmm... Why not a 22 DEX mag? Does the level of ATA not increase by 1 for each level gained for mag ATA?

No. You need 2 DEX for 1 point of ATA.
(1 DEX = .5 ATA)

You know, that's the strange thing. My Mag stats are 5/150/45/0. (Yes, I know an odd number is bad for DEX, but I just like having stats that are multiples of 5 - It just look nicer...) Even though that's the case, my ATA still says (190).
I don't know what happened, and I don't question it. I just know, and am thankful that it is. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Hehe, still, your natural ATA is a bit low. Taking away the 22 ATA your mag gives you and the 30 the units give you (190-52), you have a base ATA of 138. Only 9 points off from the max.
You'll probably only gain 1 new ATA point every 4 levels. That's tough. =

Natural ATA whatever...
My BKB has 25% hit & my Vulcans have 45% hit; both are sufficient for Ultimate Seabed.

I'm only 85 tryin' to Ultimate and my ATA with a MAG that has 40 DEX is around 120-130 and I miss quite often. http://www.pso-world.com/psoworld/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
After adding in a weapon with 20% Hit, I do pretty decently, but still miss about 20% of the time. Guess it's time to start on a new MAG with higher Dex.
