hey all my friends are starting psu again and say its really fun. the reason i quit was because they stopped playing and i was always doing the same thing. has this changed?
i know theres a new expansion whats in it i was a fighgunner when i quit around level 50ish but is there more advance classes now and new weapons. also is the game faster pace with more harder bosses because i found the bosses when i played that need no tactics or tactiacal play to kill.

i would also like to know about the money and rare situtation my friends says basicly everybody gets rares now and people have like billions of money which i think ruins the game a bit. i like my shop and love to in big partys with my friends do amazing bosses and levels and sell the loot http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif sorter like world of warcraft :s lol so is it worth it ?

Well, I'm not fond of rare dropping but money seems to drop quite commonly now. The shop condition thingy has also brought a challenge to shop sellers as everyone is trying to get the lowest prices so they beat the competitors. But seriously; I'm not a good source at all, all I have been doing is PA levelling for the past 18 days (since I started till now) so I guess I don't know much at all.

It's boring as hell! There are no good rares to go after, since you can basically buy them for cheap now. And the ones that are worth going for are impossible (Rattlesnake, Shigga Baret fuck you magahna) to get.

Even with the new 13* Amore Tip, it's basically you selling all your limbs just for the lithnia alone. The only thing I see worth doing right now for me is leveling Gravity Break to see how much damage I can do in the end, and doing mindless hunts for items worth millions ([B] psycho wand).

Sega really knows how to keep up the pace with its subscribers!

Just wait until you're 110 and have 60 mil and a palette full of S ranks, and then check back.

Don't mind the the grump-master. It's a ton of fun. Yes, I suppose, if you've played for 1000+ hours and have 'a palette full of s ranks' and '60 mil' and you're object-oriented ~ rather than just playing to be social and have fun ~ then yes I suppose it could get boring.

However, for most us, PSU is more fun than ever. AotI rocks and most of us are having a blast.

If you do decide to come back, then... welcome!

To put things in perspective, if you are a lower-mid level player, this game is going to be a lot of fun. There are lots of missions to do that drop goodies that were previously unattainable. The "grind" is no longer an issue since money drops are borderline ridiculous and levels are much easier to get now due to an exp increase. The battle system is also a lot more forgiving, as most PAs can toss enemies around now. If you are a "casual" player, your time is now.

The downside falls to the more dedicated, "hardcore" players. For the people that have capped characters and a solid selection of weapons, there isn't much to do. The difficulty has been turned way down so that parties of only 4 capable players can lay utter waste to all of the new missions. Since the drop rates are so inflated, they usually end up with all or most available AoI S-rank after only a short period. What doesn't drop can be bought cheaply. The only challenge lies back in the PSUv1 missions, which unfortunately defeats most of the purpose of an expansion. Maybe if the old missions enjoyed the same generous drop rates...

I don't know what DesertGunner's reasons are but I haven't started anew because I really have no desire. I've been a RAcast since day 1 PSO and it's the only class that really suits me. While I do have an alt, I only use her when I don't feel like being a gunner, which is very rare.

I don't think the solution to the problem is "do something else." I think that ST should have enough for everyone to do.
