Yes, I believe that Big Foot is a Transformer. Before you flame me to death, let me explain.

Name: BUFOS (Big Unidentified Flying Object Santa)

Forms: BUFOS can turn into three things: Big Foot (any species), UFO(s), and Santa (any species).

History: BUFOS is a Celestial Transformer banished to Earth from the Mormon planet of Cola. BUFOS then turned on man to torment him, and test his Mormon faith (he gives presents to good Mormons). As he crash landed on Earth, his cloaking device for UFO form(s) was destroyed; he cannot fix it with primitive Human technology. So now, he uses his amazing speed as a UFO to move everywhere, uses his ability to change form of Big Foot species to terrorize every culture, and he repays good Mormons with presents.

tl;dr: Big Foot is God.
