I looked up PSU on Sony's PS3 backwards compatibility list and for ambitions of illuminus it says it has problems saving. Also it mentions the title hangs before connecting in PSU. Anyone out there encountered this problem? I dont have access to a PS3 to test it.

Yep. It has issues recognizing my memory card or something. So I either need to retry, or just retype my password to log back in.

thanks for testing it though

Besides it having an issue recognizing, if you're playing online, I'd play with the PS3 over the PS2. It loads much faster and I have little issues with lag.

If you're playing it offline, don't play it at the PS3 at all.

I picked up the PS2 version to play on my PS3 as well (60G) cause I wanted to play it on my HDTV... but the game looked so much like a** that it was unplayble for me... was too hard on the eyes (even when I tried it on my PS2 on a SDTV).

Luckily now, with a recent windows update, my PC can output games to my HDTV. So I'm happy. Still can't run the thing at 0 frame skip without major system lag, however... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif

I really wish they would have ported this to PS3... maybe... someday... they will... (next xpansion? Please!)

I think you're hoping too much. Usually, if you put something on PS3, you make a completely different game from the PS2. And example are the Tony Hawk games.

Mine seems to be fine. Huge difference between the PS3 and PS2, but nothing amazing. The game for ps2 is 580 I believe. Usually, if you put smoothing on, the blockiness disappears unless it's a really old game.

i have used it on my 60GB. seems like it sometimes cant find the game save but just hit retry 1 time and it will work. allso it takes some time before the game starts. other than that, it vorks perfect.
