The parots from the casino started swearing at me in some random room XD and now Im wondering how those things work..

Do the users set what they say? or how do they learn it themselves?

I think they repeat the last thing that they "hear" from a player.

The parrots will say anything that was said by a person in the room. So yep, those parrots certainly have a foul mouthed owner =P

But they never repeat what I say so not to be mean or rude but I think your incorrect.

They are parrots, like real parrots they repeat what they hear, I just go to a friends room and insult the owner constantly, the parrot in a few minutes starts to repeat what I say : D

Parrots do remember stuff that's been said in the room, and randomly repeat bits of it. It's really obvious if you're sitting around having a conversation, less so if people are sneaking into your room while you're away teaching the thing all their chat macros or pretending they're in a really hot conversation.

I think the number of phrases they actually have on tap is limited. Mine's stopped saying the first few things he picked up.

i go into my friends rooms and make them say dumb things all the time I love those!

Lawl, they're like graffiti. You can tag peoples room by talking smack about the owner and leave. Then the owner comes home only to find a nasty little surprise.

I intend to get somewhere around the realm of 7-10 parrots and then spam WHAT THE DUCK?! in my room until they all repeat it. Then I will be content.

My parrot tells me which of my friends use my room to chat !!!

And BOY do they have some werid convos in my room when i'm not around XD

And when it starts insulting the customers randomly like "YOU SUCK" i just put the bird away then put him back he's too cool to not have displayed.

It can repeat anything it hears. If your's says naughty things, all you need to do is pick it up and add it again. It resets it, technically.

I prefer to view it as punishing it for it's foul mouth, rather than resetting it...
