So I solo'd motherbrain on S as newman AT

Pretty ****ing hard. Mofo Brain uses a variety of techs on you including Fire, Dark, Earth, Ice and Lightning just liek Falkis. However what makes her even more annoying is that her Razonde nails you pretty hard compared to Falkis' Megid which doesn't hit on the spot. Plus her arms spew missiles at you too which adds to pain when she decides to combo you with a shitload of other techs together.

Any other solo experiences/tips with Mother Brain to talk about?

Kinda annoying how much she uses the shield though. What a friend noticed is that with fF/Figh/aF, you can use a Slicer on her mechanical arms when she uses the shield, and using Chikki you can do respectable damage to her. Obviously, when the shield goes down, move in and spam choice PA (Majarra >_>) http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_lol.gif

Her techs do hurt a lot though, compared to Fakis'.

Out of curiosity, what are the small flying drones for? I noticed you can attack them and damage them. Does destroying those reduce what attacks Mother Brain can use or something?

Not sure, but I think they get disabled when you disabled their respective arm, because when both arms are dead MB just sits there like a dope.

I didn't have as much problem with the SEED-Ardites since whips seemed to pwn them pretty easily. Rather the AMF Heavy Infantries were more annoying.

Oddly enough, I find the greatest threat in solo'ing the mission not to be the Ardites (lol Megistar), or the jabans (20 STA, suck it *****es), but the AMF Infantry guys. Those laser cannons effing *hurt* if they get a shot off. Other than that, pretty standard fare if you're not using your new, underleveled PAs.

well it's difficult to solo. Every attack concentrated on you, means my beast figh with 2800 hp is down to 300 before I can move again.

The first time I ran the mission, I solo'd it. Level 89 Beast FF with npcs (pm 450 and leo). Took me 56 minutes I think, probably due to the fact that I was leveling up the new ultimate twin claw pa.

The battle was very epic, lost some scape dolls and was down to 2 trimates before I beat her. She had the obnoxious tactic of casting that barrier OVER and OVER again. The boss battle itself took about 15 minutes, but it was very fun. For soloing, you have to constantly move around against her, or you are pretty much screwed.

And to end the epic battle? Grand Cross board dropped. Came out 26% light http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

Actually I just soloed her as a CAST AT, I say she's pretty easy as an AT, hits a little hard but nothing short of a good (gi)resta can't handle. Though one of the funnest boss battles yet :3

Took me about 40 mins to down the entire mission, male CAST 110 AT15. It took me about 7 mins to down mother brain, wasn't too bad, got a few diga lvls in there though http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

This mission was hard the first time i tried....then again i was spamming lvl 11 Absolute dance lol. Went fF, grabbed jabroga difficulty ended there.
