Does this crap have a purpose yet?

I still have 30+ of it, wasting away and have had it for 7 months.

Any info (including info from a future update) would be nice.

That's like asking why they put out all those weapons in the V1 data when they only drop in AOI.

Are there any other items as puzzling as the mysterious "meteoric metal?"

It'll have to be used for some Uber weapon.

It'll be like...

Meteo 16*
Grenade Launcher
PP 9000
ATP 2200
ATA 400

or something like that.

Slight bump on this one -- sorry about that -- but I've found out what Meteoric Metal will be used to make. It's a special ingredient in a (currently unreleased) 10-star line shield called Rabol Gaim.

True, however not everything is revealed in the Perfect Bible. There are still a few synthesis board listings that have question marks in place of ingredients; guess they want to try to keep some things a secret for just a bit longer. Also, I'm pretty certain there are still some weapons that aren't listed, as some categories never go above the 12-star mark, and others that do only have maybe one or two as opposed to at least one weapon for each new star level.
