I saw this thing, 100 Rules of Anime. I would post a link, but I don't remember where I found it, and some things are not to be mentioned on these forums.

-girls can inflict more pain then even the strongest baddies
-the hero never dies and if they do they just come back!
-there is almost always conveniently placed objects to hid nudity
-you can fight no matter how much pain you are just as long as you believe you can win!
-everybody talks in cliches

There are some... unsavory ones... but otherwise, most of this is interesting and well done.

Here's one for Talon:

#11- Law of Inherent Combustibility- Everything explodes. Everything.
First Corollary- Anything that explodes bulges first.
Second Corollary- Large cities are the most explosive substances known to
human science. Tokyo in particular seems to be the most unstable of these cities,
sometimes referred to as "The Matchstick City".

-you can walk on air
-it might hurt but you can hold your breath underwater indefinitely
-everyone is either blessed or has a demon trapped in them
-dying is long, boring, drawn-out, in slow motion, and you have to give a Shakespearian speak first!

#16- Laws of Inverse Accuracy- The accuracy of a "Good Guy" when operating any form
of firearm increases as the difficulty of the shot increases. The accuracy of the
"Bad Guys" when operating firearms decreases when the difficulty of the shot
decreases. (Also known as the Stormtrooper Effect) Example: A "Good Guy" in a
drunken stupor being held upside down from a moving vehicle will always hit, and
several battalions of "Bad Guys" firing on a "Good Guy" standing alone in the middle
of an open field will always miss.
First Corollary- The more "Bad Guys" there are, the less likely they will
hit anyone or do any real damage.
Second Corollary- Whenever a "Good Guy" is faced with insurmountable odds,
the "Bad Guys" line up in neat rows, allowing the hero to take them all out with a
single burst of automatic fire and then escape.
Third Corollary- Whenever a "Good Guy" is actually hit by enemy fire, it is
in a designated "Good Guy Area", usually a flesh wound in the shoulder or arm,
which restricts the "Good Guy" from doing anything more strenuous than driving,
firing weaponry, using melee weapons, operating heavy machinery, or doing complex
martial arts maneuvers.
*Fourth Corollary- The more times the "Bad Guy" fires, the fewer times he
will hit.

#20- Law of Militaristic Unreliability- Huge galaxy-wide armadas, entire armies, and
large war machines full of cruel, heartless, bloodthirsty warriors can be stopped
and defeated with a single insignificant example of a caring/loving emotion or a
song.
First Corollary- Whenever a single war machine (mecha, starship, etc.) goes
up against an entire army, the army always loses.

singing is also a very powerful weapon against bad guys in both anime and rpgs... tales of the abyss proved that

AlexCraig
Dec 21, 2007, 10:42 PM
#30- Law of Non-Anthropomorphic Antagonism- All ugly, non-humanoid alien races are
hostile, and usually hell-bent on destroying humanity for some obscure reason.

So, does it list the rule that applies to basically every bad guy in every work of fiction?

-Given a choice between stabbing the hero in the back for a sure kill and delivering a long-drawn out and/or antangonising phrase, the villain will always choose the latter, giving the hero the perfect opurtunity to kill him

They're as undead as it gets in that universe. Besides, at the very least, the pheonix down rips the attached soul out and reincarnates it, rending the Necron a hunbk of metal with nothing driving it...

And if thats not enough, I'll just pull out something else. I think the Phantom Train could deal with them quickly enough, take all the souls to the afterlife, also rendering them immobile hunks of metal.

As for the wierd sun-eating things that control them, I can just make them eat black hole. (We actually already have the technology to, in theory, create a miniature black hole)

If a character has white hair, they will probably be evil at some point in the series.
