may seem like a weird topic but something weird is happening to me. I'm a level 70 Figunner caseal and for some reason, I get better EXP in A rank then I do in S rank of this mission... explanations?

killing blow?

No because when I didn't get the killing blow in A I got more then when I don't in S, same goes for when I do. for example, those big guys, if I kill them I get 800 but when I did in A i got over 900

I heard if you are more than 30 levels below the enemies level, your exp gets reduced

This is odd we had someone in our white beast group that said he got less than the exp that he was supposed to get from killing the boss the only thing I noticed was that he was the only one to die during the fight.

Maybe if you die in boss fights you get less exp?

Except two of the people I'm playing with right now are 71 and 76 yet they get normal exp?

Its because you are below a certain level to gain 100% experience from level 120 monsters. Your friends are still not getting full experience, only a certain percentage more than you because they are higher level then you are. They may have changed the experience curve a little bit, but that is the reason why you are getting reduced experience.

So really, even though I can get into S theres no point in doing it till i'm 80? that blows.

I dont know if there is proof on any website but from personal experience:

A. This has also happened to me before in the past, and I noted a slight increase in experience per enemy after each level up until I was high enough to receive 100% experience.

B. This is actually a common occurence in online rpgs so low level characters don't gain an immense amount of levels at one time. Diablo 2 is an example RPG that also uses this type of system.

What makes no sense is why let us in then? If we get jipped on exp when we are there anyways...

Pretty much. And of course things are generally more fun when the enemies are stronger, and thus, more dangerous.

On the issue of the Mother Brain mission, though... I hate how the starting level for A is 60, even though the enemies in B are only 45, it makes it pesky for my level 56 alt... I'd much rather be doing Dancing Birds were I can do A with enemies at 80, pushing the upper limits of the full xp range. (Admittedly, the final room enemies are at 90, but thats only a few of the total enemies, and they aren't very far out of the 30 level range)

Test it yourself. Check how the EXP given increases when you level up.

If you are more than 30 levels below the levels of the enemies you're killing, the amount of EXP you get is reduced. The lower the level of your character, the greater the EXP reduction.

do we know the minimum limit is for getting full exp? I have heard of this before too (getting less exp. if you are too low), and I was just wondering when I should try the higher lvls with my lower alts...

yes you get less depending on your level. My level 110 char (who was 109 last she got experience) used to get around 3 k more then my level 64 from killing De Rol Le. I do not think there are killing hit that counts on bosses since I get always the same wether I am soloing or in a party, from De Rol Le

I get around 6K with my level 64 and around 9 K with my level 109

Same with small monsters, I spent a lot of time comparing exp. Higher level party member always get more then my level 64 wether they kill or not.

I think you get full exp when you reach level 100. But the thing I don't know is wether we will start getting more after 110 since now we can't see the exp at 110.
