Also, you can't float over a bomb's shockwave. It's omnidirectional, especially considering that nuclear weapons are detonated above ground, in most cases. There's probably another spell to fix that, but just sayin'.

Well, the shockwave in the air would just shove me back a bit, its the one through the ground that would do damage. (See spells like Quake, which are nullified by Float)

Please note that I equipped a Ribbon, so all you ended up doing was putting reflect on and removing my statuses. Rewind conveniently undoes that.

I should probably stop using the spell though, its rather cheap... (And I only recall in being in FFV, anyways)

Guns do exist in FF, you know.

First, theres the issue of Blink making me nearly impossible to hit. Second, Golem (FFV version, I believe) blocks any and all physical attacks. Third, even assuming Golem doesnt block it, Protect reduces the damage. Finally, Reraise always works, and you did nothing to remove it.

its strange... its kind of a combination of a spell and an attack and yes you do die if you run out of MP (never happened to me though) hence why i didn't choose divine blade... *cringes* anyways heres dimension doors stats

Well, if it's energy based, its definitely a spell.

But if you play by Star Ocean rules, I can do some nasty things to erase your MP fast. Basically, I cast Zombie, which sets your HP to 0 but makes you undead, followed by casting Mantra Magicl to reverse your HP and MP.

No, I'm using FF spells. In VI, being inflicted with Zombie reduces your HP to 0, and the Mantra Magic spell (Blue Magic, in FFTA) swaps the values for HP and MP, which leaves you with 0 MP, and you die as soon as Zombie is removed from you.

ah, disease is just as bad if you don't have a vaccine or the counter spell... drains your health and won't allow you to heal, also when it kills you if you relive with a pheonix down its still there and you only come back with one HP (FFXII)

You can still use items, but if I use Quick+Doublecast, you dont get a chance. Thats not really fair though, is it?

The spell Quick basiclly lets me do two turns at once.
