Since I can only get either one or the other, which claw PA should I get?

Bukuu Saien-Zan
or
Senten Kanzan-ga

Senten does very decent damage and effects a good area in front.

Haven't had a chance to use it just yet, just started using single Claws recently. I am curious, however, and will keep an eye on this topic to learn. For learn!

Bukuu doesn't make the big numbers like Senten, nor is it as fast, but it more than makes up for it with it's crowd control.

Part 1 = 3 hits on 3 targets, knocks enemies upward at the end
Part 2 = 2 hits on 2 targets, knockback on both hits.
The Accuracy on Bukuu starts at 51%, but it goes up reasonably fast, at 23 the accuracy is at 80%.

I still think Shousen Totsuzan-ga is the best single claw PA, but I'd also reccomend Bukuu Saien-Zan

Bukuu Saien-zan. Shousen Totsuzan-ga is decent too. Senten is alright, and can hit out some high numbers, but for damage I'd rather use something like Spinning Strike I guess.

How many hits and how many targets does Bukuu effect? The video looks neat but I am too sleepy to track its number of hits.

Why do people make these threads? Study each PA, and figure out HOW you want to use the weapon. Focus more on single/2/3 targets? Or area control.
That's usually what the PA determines.

It is often nice to hear relevant feedback from those who've experienced such things. Before jumping into something, we become more informed. It's a first step to experimentation. I do not play enough to spend a lot of time experimenting with things, so I'd like to be better informed prior to playing around.

Such is things.
