It's more like a Phantasy Star Genesis game than Phantasy Star Online.

ya there's actualy a solid (sorta) storyline instead of PSO's loose "go and explore" premise.

PSU actually has a pretty good and interesting story, especially starting with EP 2. Most people just don't bother doing the story missions or trying to understand what's said in them.
