Mostly... I wondering about Sranks. Like, are there any S rank...

Someone on here did get ahold of alot of audio files from the game data. Found a copy of the Vol Opt music in there...

Also, did the Vol brothers ever work with Ethan in episode 1? If not, the story mode may give us the partner cards of the Vol Brothers. o.o

The only file dump/text document full of strings I've seen is one Mewn (?) did with the partner cards, and with v1 items. Not sure if he's planning on doing one for AotI though, or if there's already one out for that matter.

Also, did the Vol brothers ever work with Ethan in episode 1? If not, the story mode may give us the partner cards of the Vol Brothers. o.o

In the very first chapter, Ethan agrees to help the mustachio'd Vol and the big Vol find their brother in exchange for them helping him find Lumia and otherwise watching his back.

To find out who Helga is, watch Phantom of Arkguard. Even if you don't want to watch it for that, watch it anyway. It provides some nice plot details and sets the stage very nicely for Episode 2.

Enemy names have been pulled from the data, all (except for one or two; I'll explain that in a second) can be seen here (http://psupedia.info/The_PSUPedia:Item_drop_templates). I say either one or two as there is a listing for "Bafal" and "Bragga" in the data, but due to how oddly names are spaced, it's not certain if this is one enemy (Bafal Bragga) or two (Bafal and Bragga). As far as bosses, the new ones listed are Alterazgohg, De Rol Le, Mother Brain and Dark Falz. Honestly, I guess it doesn't matter if I spoiler tag that or not since so many know about it. What they might not know, however, is that it is listed three times in the data (much as Dulk Fakis was listed multiple times in the PSU data files), which implies that we may see multiple forms of it at a later time. But note that I said implies, not confirms.

Also, thanks to Mewn for this information. He's the one who shared it with me.

also him having a second form and it being a reskin of fakis would make sense since he originally did have multiple forms and i was told that falz and fakis' second form are a bit similar in ways.

Fakis 2nd form is the only one that doesnt have a reskin yet so it's pretty obvious Dark Falz will be its reskin.

People should remember that offline data is completely seperate from online data. So what shows up in there can very well be not any indication of what finally shows up online. The online data is also likely imcomplete and is updated with each update.

I don't know where people got this indication from, but it isn't entirely true. The game is very, very client-based. Anything data-mined out of offline mode can - and probably will - show up online eventually. That doesn't necessarily mean things like an item or class will have the same stats in online as it does when mined out of offline mode.. (because stats are just numbers, really) but the actual items, enemies, places, etc.. anything physical will be in the offline data. If it isn't in the offline data though, it doesn't exist, period.

Krisan- Not completely true...at least as far as lack of offline data goes. In the vanilla PSU there was no offine data for Axes and cards...yet it DID exsist online. The P wand was also incomplete data in offline...yet you could make them online ready to go. Everything else you said is right on the nose.

There were axes and cards in offline data. There are a ton of videos of characters in Extra Mode using them to prove it, even. As for the Psycho-Wand, the board might have been broken in the offline data (because like stats, the item requirements on boards can change when it goes online) but that doesn't necessarily mean you couldn't "obtain" one through datamining. (See the end of this post for a followup on this, though.)

What exactly do you think Online does anyway? All the physical data for this game (stats can be considered variable data) comes from the client, and hardly anything even gets patched into the client if you hadn't noticed. Online mode isn't some magical separate entity that is capable of rendering unique things, it uses the same client as offline mode - and due to a lack of any real content patches (things only ever get unlocked, patches tend to only fix small bugs for the most part)if it isn't in data it does not exist, and probably never will exist until the next expansion.

Yes, it is possible in some rare cases that an item has such horribly broken stats in offline mode (because it isn't meant to be obtained offline) that it is unusable there when mined up, but that doesn't change the fact that it is THERE in data. All the server really does is insert the stats for it, all the other information for the item is already present and accounted for in the client, and that's what dataminers tend to look for. (Graphics, description, animation, etc..)

They can't just go in and add weapons or clothes or whatever to online because the PS2 wouldn't know what to do with it. No hard drive == Not a whole fuck of a lot you can do as far as patches to add content goes. Can't add new weapons, or clothing, or hairstyles, or areas... Nowhere to store it.

No, the stats you hack out aren't going to be the real ones, stuff'll be broken, but it exists whether it's 'right' or not. All online is gonna do is unlock it and assign the right stats. It was always there, just not available offline.

Also, as a Rati fan, the Shadoog Helga had in that picture looks nothing at all like a Rati. It's at least hopeful since it's a dual Shadoog, offering the possibility of dual Shadoogs/Madoogs and thus a possibility of someday having a Rati, but it's not actually a Rati or even close.

Though... I guess the ones that were discovered before in PSU were found through Manipulating Weapon boards to turn them into what every was synth-able (cough*during the hacking spree*cough)

This is why we didn't know anything about the Kitty Claws or Ank Biko, because they didn't have a board to synth from! =)

So, I' still hoping for GRM S rank Daggers and Wands, and Tenora S rank Claws =)

No one said there is no hope for anything in particular, just simply that if it isn't in data now.. it never will be. Doesn't necessarily mean everything has been mined out of the data yet either, pretty tedious work to dig up all this stuff honestly.

As for any NPC women with cowboy hats.. the Casino women certainly seem to be wearing them, so I wouldn't say it is impossible that we'll get them too eventually. (But don't necessarily count on that.. there are a few oddball things that random NPC's have that - for some reason - players do not have access to yet and may perhaps never have.)
