Threads like this are good for telling people they need to upgrade from their 14" CRT from 1995.

I had to force my first color CRT to do that high of resolution. I was stuck with 640x480 in 16-bit color mode. Shit was painful.

Also, I just noticed that it's snowing http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gifs and http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_disapprove.gifs. >.>;

What was really bad was when I had my PC stuck on my damaged card and was running 256 color in 640x480. Thankfully it wasn't for long.

The last card I had that didn't support 32-bit was... some piece of shit ISA card in my 486 machine back in 1995. Hell, even the ATI Rage Pro could do 32-bit color and that thing is over 10 years old.
