should i stay a force

i am a level 19 newman and i use a varitey of weapons some including a a dual saber and a spear trying to get a whip i prefer close quarters but at the same time i like to back off and make shure my magic does enough damage to take down an enemy in a couple strikes and when threatened throw in a quick resta should i head to a hunter class or stay a force

Don't go Acrotecher. It sounds like you're more into the battle part of being a force than supporting. We have enough sucky unsupportive Acrotechers as is. Besides, you like spears and twin sabers. Wartecher has those.

I agree. Wartecher is the answer for you. Even though Acrotecher can use melee skills, they are highly uneffective with them in the late game and melee also has slow recovery times making support hard to follow up on when needed, which is the Acrotecher's strength and should be primary focus. While Wartecher is not as effective with melee in the late game as some other classes, they are definitely the best choice of melee use out of all of the classes that can also use techniques. Unfortunately for you though, you will never deal "enough damage to take down an enemy in a couple strikes" with techniques as any techer class later on. In the late game monsters have so much HP that even a Mechgun glitch, which stacks up to 5 simultaneous bullet streams, takes a good moment or two to kill something.

o wow maybie wartecher but dont get me wrong im leaning twoard close quarters if a group of monsters is looking at me in the face its more enjoyable to pull out the dual sabers and charge then back off and cast mejod even though its more powerful it seems more fun but when i run out of pp pull out the rod and cast razonde oh yeah i prefer rods than wands so thats why i prefer to stay a force so wartecher would probally be a good class for me lemme go check the requirements so i know what im gonna be working on

IDK... I've done wartecher and acrotecher... I hated wartecher- I didn't even level it to 3. The techs sucked, I wasn't strong meleeing, and it was just not fun. I love acrotecher, I can do decent damage, and keep myself healed... and the attack techs seem almost the same, slightly weaker than FT. I've been in pts with ATs that only used offensive magic (to the point that I wasn't even reversered when I was asleep -_-) but I don't get upset by it- I've switched to acro fighter right now, to solo story missions to get PA frags for giresta and I am pretty much the healer in all my parties with my sol and star atomizers because techers play how they want. People who get upset by it need to walk away for a while.

I would say go acrotecher for speed, it's a really fun class ^_^

Oh, also the acro jobs are easier to level up to 10 than wartecher, figunner, etc... I guess because they are new. After 10 it takes a bit more though!
