Cannot equip: Type?

Why cant i use an A rank sword but i can use a B rank one. I understand some items need certain stats but this one says type but i know i can use that type. Sorry fo being a complete noob.

It means you cannot use it because of your GUARDIAN type. Sounds like you're a base Hunter if you can equip B-rank swords but not A-rank.

EDIT: To further explain, you'll only be able to equip A-rank and above swords when you upgrade to an advanced type such as Fortefighter or Fighgunner.

You're a Hunter then...

You need to be one of the following to use an A rank sword:
Fortefighter
Fighgunner
Wartecher
Protranser

Which type would i be better off using, im a human and like to Use the Swords mainly.

Doesn't really matter, Humans do well at all of the classes listed up there.

If you eventually want to use S rank swords, you have to play as Fortefighter or Protranser. The other 2 classes have an A rank sword cap.

Im just looking at the types now, Thinking Fortefighter looks good. Why do my stats go down though?

It's the change of a class to an advanced one. By Fortefighter lv2 or lv3, your stats should be higher than Hunter's. Don't worry, it's only temporary. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif
