Questions about Synthezising

Hello. I have a few questions about synthezising. I'm feeding my PM only striking weapons and skill discs so I get a level 100 striking PM, that's my goal but I was wondering a few things.

1. Could I leave synthezising items until I get to a high level and sell all of my materials instead?

2. There are so many synthezing materials, how do I tell between them and know which to sell to the vendor and which to put in my shop and which to keep? Same with the boards.

3. I was planning to sell all of the materials and boards for meseta and then once I get the good striking weapon boards start synthezising weapons. Is this a good idea?

4. Please add any other information I should know about synthezising.

1. yes thats what i did with mine.

2. Just keep the 7* and up materials. Most weapons below 7* are really cheap in player shops and u wont need to synth them.

3. Yea go ahead and sell the materials and boards if u like, unless they're 10-15* or something. Boards and materials are pretty easy to find http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif

4. Stuff that end in "line" like aceline, wenceline, kerseline, junaline, vulcaline, and so on are very common, so you dont have to worry about saving those a all. Same with the rare materials called, Chicotite, stelenium, slaterian, and cyral. If u need any of those u could probably find them really cheap at a player shop.

But there are some really rare materials like vahra nails, Diad, morbinia, and catilium. So if you dont know what a synth item is, go check the prices at player shops first to see if its rare enough to keep, or if it seems like junk to sell at the NPC shop.

I have an important question, how do I remove boards that I have inserted into my PM???

You don't. Once you insert a board it doesn't come back out.

It isn't really important, since once you hit the limit it'll just ask you to overwrite a current board.. But it should be fairly obvious how. "Delete Board" is among the available options in the Synthesis menu after all.

I'm guessing this option is only available in AotI then? Since that isn't out here in the UK till the 25th of January. :/
