Discuss. Is the 3 endurance with the extra cost? also the fact it lacks a head slot. I'm a Cast Acrofighter by the way.

All Gunner classes can use the castest line. But as an Acrofighter, you can`t anyway. So you have to stay with the stormline anyway. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

I hate these line shields, mainly for the fact that they void me the ability to use a 10s shield line because they are ranger only, WTF GRM? Only Serafi-Senba and Shinowa Line have extra slots too. Bawww. Are there any Hunter or Force only lines?

If you find one, go for the Castest Line. I wouldn't buy it unless you have money to burn though.

Combined with a Hard/Stamina, the Castest Line (along with the Shinowa Line, but no body slot = fail) can make a male gunner immune to Deljaban Megid. For that reason, I say it is indeed worth it as far as a Dark armor is concerned. For my other elements, I use something else; STA doesn't cover anything that the appropriate resist unit cannot.

No, the CAST-only armor is one nobody knows about because it drops only on Mother Brain C and B, "Caster Line". Castest Line was never even known about as far as I know, until it dropped in AotI.

stormline is better for AF because of STC in your head slot. more damage on your shags. also stormline is cheaper. I got a 22% stormline for 1.5

Eh, RCSM damage is negligible, and the extra EVP and END on Castest Line is a great help for an AF.

true but rmags mainly used for SE and the extras edurance make greatly for that

Actually, I use the Shags for extra damage on my AT. Even if you're pounding for 1200+ on your techs, the extra 600+ during each time you're casting, on even a modest Shag is actually still pretty significant. Oddly enough, that's practically matching my Twins on my GT, except they don't shoot quite as fast. Fast enough to keep in time with the techs, though.

And we're discussing AF use of RCSMs, which is a much different experience from an AT using them. And an AT would already want to have a Head slot, for a Quick unit.

True. I do agree with you there. It's too big of a loss losing a Head Unit like Har/Quick or something.

If you want to increase your Shadoog damage, I think Storm Line would be better since you can use that Sori / TECH Charge with the Head Slot. If you don't care, Castest Line looks a bit better.
