Is there some new grind glitch or something?

3 weapons in a row: card regas, serdote, vish kuseb.

i went to grind them all today with 2* luck using all A+10's and had no breakage at all.

can anyone confirm for me?

I'd have to disagree on that glitch idea. I've been using A+10's on my Regas and other 9* weapons, and they consistently broke on the second grind, even though I had 3* luck. I got so frustrated >_<

You have some very bad luck if that happens. 2nd grind on an A rank weap with a +10 grinder is 99.75%. If you consitently broke them with a .25% chance of failure I would just give up.


(EDIT) I am using the old grinding chart for that, but it still seems pretty accurate to me.

Miren, I'm pretty sure luck isn't predetermined in PSU like it was in PSO. It's just as it looks: Each race has different luck daily, as I'm sure you already knew http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif.

I've managed to get alot of +8's and higher and all I can say is... Kubara stuff grinds more difficultly. I've gotten +10 on 1/2 of my yohmei tenora and GRM stuffs and only 1/20th of my kubaras..
The trend I'm seeing is it's better to grind planetary weps and trade them for kubara weps...

My grinding luck fluctuates wildly, but if I have a decent-sized fleet of the same weapon, I stand a fairly decent chance of grinding something well. Why, last year I grinded a +10 b'duki re, two +10 shigga damducs, a few +10 handgucs, a +10 b'duki hadoc, and two +10 sevaracs. Those kept me happy for over half a year I'd bet, and only since about a month or so ago have I actually replaced those weapons with A or S-ranks. I can't say how many weapons got destroyed in that process. Let's just say "a lot".

Then after the new grind system got implimented, I got a 9/9 Varista and a 7/7 from some 0/9 varistas that I bought.

Oh, and shortly before Christmas, I got two 10/10 Azul Fire, and a few at 8/8 or 9/9. My fleet of b'duki boa, however, mainly failed going from 1 to 2 or 2 to 3, and my best grind was 6/6. I oughtta get a few more of those... http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif

Ya know, I find it funny when people complain about grinding. If I have the grinders and it's not a 1/1, 2/2, 3/3 etc. I keep going. Some people I know refuse to grind weapons at all. I just laugh and go, hey, I never would've grinded my 50% weapons before because it could dissapear, and I would've been happy with a 0 grind on it... at this point even 1 grind is better than none.
