I just started an AF not too long ago and believe it or not, I'm going to have to pick...Knuckles. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_razz.gif When I want something dead fast, the first hit of Bogga Robado does the trick. And Bogga Zubba, that's just a fun PA (bowling for mobs!).

All and all, I still like the concept/look of axes alot better than swords.

So I went with Axe even though I'm primarily a sword-wielder now.

Spears or double claw because they can both target two or more enemies with a PA Skill. Also they are great for overpowering mobs.

Sword. Thanks to the JA system encouraging slower use of the weapon, there's a bit more sense of weight to it, and the second part of Gravity Break just screams out Monster Hunter greatsword (though I hate it when I accidentally use that horribly animated third part of GB). Move over axes and your damn one-handed Anga Redda, jump attacks and somersaults...

assuming that everyone is voting in the poll, im definetly surprised to see the diversity and different answers im seeing so far. I remember when the game first came out I only used twin daggers and had only 1 photon art until level 50...that is until they nerf'd that PA.

besides OP2K I'm pretty bummed by the lack of twin-saber loving thats happened here. granted,they arent all that aesthetically pleasing until you hit the S-ranks,but the A-rank GRM ones grew on me after a while. lookswise theyre at a little disadvantage becase lets face it,mugunruk is probably just simply one of the coolest looking melee weaps in the entire game. still though,grand cross i think gives it a good run for its money. this thread makes me want to switch my cast back to a fighgunner.

Hits 3 targets in a wide swing for huge damage. Add Gravity break and you've got a winner. Plus it looks cool weilding a 9 foot long broadsword.

Plus every melee job can use the sword for when they need a huge hit. FF, Fig, PT and now even WT can use it.

wow, what an upset for Knuckles looking at the poll now i say... & what a let down for Twin Sabers, hmmm.. personally i like Spears even more after AOtI update with Dus Robado boost especially, & Knuckles was my least fav.

I guess all weps got it's own style & attraction on each of their own once you get used to using them effectively. I think Twin daggers are a bit overrated when you think about disadvantages on range and power... it must be that crazy new flying Ult PA move everyone is drooling about...XD
