Pfft, titan shmitan. Everyone knows that large, destructive machines belonging to oppressive empires always get blown to pieces in the end, generally by enemies a mere fraction of their size. (Plus, by the year 41,000, the Tau will have conquered the imperium by technological supremacy anyways)

and as dizzy has so gratefully represented that is why generics should just give up... anybody with fancier clothes, hair and/or weapons is clearly important and will clearly wipe the floor with a generic...

If they cannot do what the Necron do (Faster than light travel without use of warp)
Remember while they are incorruptible they got no connection to the warp and without that the Empire would whomp their asses just by size.

Given that the period between them first making any form of technology and their current level of technology is a mere 4,000 years, I don't think the Imperium stands a chance in the long run. And since Necrons can get FTL without the Warp, it stands to reason the Tau can. (And they CAN use the Warp, just not for long stretches. Also, their armies are not exclusively Tau, theres the notable inclusion of Kroot, as well as a number of HUMANS. And of course, one human getting corrupted in a protracted stay in the warp isn't going to kill anyone when everyone around him is totally impervious to it)

ShinMaruku
Jan 5, 2008, 01:27 AM
Well they saw the Imperium and decided to take it up.
As for Warp skimming with Human's how much of them are psykers who know what they are doing? I can give it to them giving it to the Imperium but it's gonna take them a LOOOONG time to reach there. Necrons had millions of years to do that and they have this massive advantage of the C'tan.
Really in the long run they are gonna wipe life down and sleep again.. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_frown.gif
If they can get that one awake on Mars. (The Dragon who is at peer with the Night Bringer who at his peak could kick and entire star system's ass)

Tau has a chance yes, but can they reach the sophistication of the Necron without getting mukred by them?
Tau can kick chaos' ass but against the Imperium, tall order for a looong time given the Necron have sufficent number awake.

What'd I'd like to see is a stalemate situation.
Because aside form the Orks and the Imperium growth is needed to challenge them.
The question is say they do reach that in time and the Emeror wakes up? >_>
That'd be awesome.

I want a Gottardammerung style thing.

Eldar get decent numbers, Emperor wakes up, the 4 C'tan arise, Next Dark Crusade Happens, Tau achive great strength and they all fuck themselves up and C'tan eat people and Eldar and Humans snipe C'tan and they blow up and small places stay and begin anew.

I'd like to see the Tau get up power but tall order.

Random game numbers and armada categorizing maybe.
