Quick question regarding casting times for technics

Why do people say that fT's cast slower than aT's do? Is this because they are comparing rods to wands, or because wand v wand the aT casts quicker?

I ask because i'm stuck at that invariable intersection between fT and aT. Made worse because my spells (Buffs and attacks) are all ~Lvl 10. And made even worse that i found a [B]Halarod and Har / Quick in the same run, and successfully synthed it on a 96 Range bot (An omen in itself).

Acrotechers just cast faster automatically, just like acrofighters are faster with striking weps than any other class. I think someone said that an AT casts about as fast as a FT with a me/quick.

Correct. However, Acrotecher can also use Twin Daggers at a faster rate than other classes. And with their decent attack power backed up by tier 4 buffs, why not? I love them http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_smile.gif
