What do all the Phantasy Star 2 techs do?

I never used techs much in PS2 and now that I'm playing through again on the PSP collection I'm getting all sorts of techs as I level and have no clue what they do.

SHU (1 ally, combat only)
SAK, SAR (1 ally, anywhere)
... dunno what else is out there even. Amy and Hugh keep getting techs tho. At least Hugh doesn't have RES so I'm free to waste all his TP trying things out, too bad his spells rarely hit.

BTW I'm dreading Green Dam without a map :/

SAK = sacrafice your character's life to replenish your party's HP
SAR = Cure the party's HP

ya i remember the 1st time i used Sak. I was 8, Nei just learned Sak and i think to myself ," that tech sounds alot like SACRIFICE! Eh, all these techs have wierd names so what the heck.".....
ya know, i think it would make a good PSO/U tech :D
