Battle Systems ACCURACY!!!!

So i was wondering, after seeing this guy jump 100 feet into the air, do any attacks directed at him (i.e. barta) miss when he is that high in the air? or is it just a blocky series of attacks thats just illusionized with be dazzled flashy moves?

he can get hit, had a guy jump in the air only to be frozen by dambarta and slowly die while we searched in vain for a body, good times.

I wish that worked both ways. I don't know how many times I've seen a monster get Rising Strike'd and fly clear over my Barta.

Attacks have pretty good vertical ranges imo.
