I red a while back that Sweet Death has a reduced range to match its small look. I was wondering if the oposite could be said about GRM A rank Daggers since they are huge. Do A rank GRM dagger have a longer reach?

This would make up for their crappy stats =)

I never noticed a reduced range with sweet death, maybe just because you always have to be up close to hit something anyways but I don't know if size affects range

No, I just like to sit and wonder from time to time.

PP is a ridiculous stat on daggers, as they regenarate very quickly. The Atp increase is significant when you grind them. It almost surpasses the S-rank daggers.

Twin GRM daggers more than Single, but yes. Yohmei Daggers are better generally. (A rank I mean)

Twin Daggers:
GRM, ATP 210, Acc 263, PP 332
Yohmei, ATP 202, Acc 292, PP 369
10* Gizaha ATP 219, Acc 348, PP 389

8 Atp isn't worth it IMO. Plus the easy to buy Gizahas are stronger anyways.

Well, I think the single ones are worth it. The atp difference is bigger iirc, and they are sure as hell easier to get then Deva-zashi. And, they grind easier. It counts for a part.
That and, well, looks. Apart from the minor stat differences, I think GRM daggers looks loads better than Yohmei ones.

I'll agree that with the Single Daggers of the same rarity, GRM beast Yohmei. I'll go check my Deva's Stats... give me a sec

At a +5 Grind, Deva-Zashi has 445 ATP, 373 PP, 361 Acc

Why do you type everything in small text...

I have spent a lot of time switching between Yohmei and GRM daggers and I can't tell any difference in range.

Oh, post+1

I see.
Well, for classes that cannot use S rank daggers, GRM ones are better.

Maybe at higher levels, but when I was a Human Acrotecher and switched from a 9* Yohmei to a 8* GRM (mostly for attribute rate) I remember my accuracy being atrociously low for S-rank missions. My Photon Arts would connect at around 50%. So if you're a CAST, sure. If you're high enough level to hit the current monsters regardless, sure. If you're neither, you might need some of that Yohmei accuracy.

dont know how it reflects with PSU but the hit range would depend on the collision data in the model file combined with how the item is set up in the game engine.

in TES you can ammend the range, anything higher then one extends past the point of the models collision model.

i could understand the sweet deaths having a lower range but i havnt seen it but the daggers i cant, yes there longer but they ride up the arm and don textend out forther from the body, so longer range, in my opinion, would not make sense.

Just my thoughts on it

My Crea Doubles tend to hit much farther away than my Nightwalker.
