Question about Changing Types.

Just got the game today. =) On PS2/PC. I found where to change types, but I need to have Ranger 10 to get to forteGunner, I understand that. But, I've heard people say you get to that second class really quickly and easily. Which.. o.o Isn't happening. I get S and A on most missions, and am barely half way to level 2 Hunter. Is there something else I need to turn in, or is that just how it is? http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_eek.gif I'm level 10 atm.

aoi missions (yellow names) will get you much more mission points if you havent been doing those, I have lvl'd a low char post-aoi though so I cant tell you what lvl range you should hit adv types

I don't have the super-handy MP List handy, but doing quests such as
True Darkness (Colony)
White Beast (Neudaiz)
Cost of Research (also Neudaiz) (High MP? I forget)
Military Subway (Parum)

or any other AOI mission should land you a crapload of MP and level your Type fast.
