I am both Neurotypical and Aspie, but more on the Aspie side.

Aspie: 111, Neurotypical: 101

I have above average Aspie perception and above average paranoia.

Duh.

To Moo: Hunting relates to physical abilities, such as being able to jump high or having strong hands. Apparently, those two traits are aspie? Also how you would respond in a hunting situation. A paranoid hunter is a cautious hunter.

Actually, "Gifted" refers to the precise opposite of "Challenged", and it is being "Challenged" that scores you a seat on the shot bus. Being more "Gifted" essentially means that you can understand more complicated things. You'll be more inclined to understand things in one field than in another, such as math and sciences as opposed to crafting, but I believe that's mostly determined by your personal interests.

For what it's worth, barring the possibility that a person might have something physically wrong with his brain, I don't think anyone actually has more potential for general intelligence than another; I believe that it's mostly determined by how accustomed you are to performing feats of mental acuity. It's a ladder that can be climbed, and those who seem to be on a higher rung than their peers were likely expected to be intelligent at a very young age, and treated accordingly. Otherwise, they had some other sort of encouragement in that direction.

That's my theory, anyway.

Also Ian, I don't think the term "aspie" is used to make asperger's seem cool or something. Its just a word to describe someone who suffers from it.
You have asperger's, you're an aspie.

'Aspie' is pretty much only used by those in the 'community'. The 'community' consists of a bunch of sick psychotic fucks who want Asperger's to be seen as a 'normal' thing and try to get people to see it as something like race rather than as the disease it is.

If that kind of mindset prevails, though, then it will become a 'bad' thing to seek treatment, ways of trying to compensate for the disability, to try to develop drugs to take care of the symptoms, etc. A bunch of egotistical assholes trying to fuck over the future of kids with the disease. They don't need fucking Autism Pride Day, they need HELP.

So 'Aspie' and all that is associated with it pisses me the fuck off.

'Assburgers' actually doesn't offend me. I find it vaguely humorous, would probably have come up with it myself eventually, and it at least casts the condition in the proper light - That of Something Wrong.

I would expect pot to be an effective ADHD treatment; at least for the "hyperactive" part of it. Is this the case?
