It really wasn't an issue of "How do they move the huge, bulky, possibly extremely heavy suits, more like...

WHERE ARE THE CONTROLS??

With the anatomy of those things they either have extremely wide shoulders or are cramped up inside the chest cavity.

Either way it doesn't make sense.

They have no ribcage it's a huge bony shell. They have huge soldiers, They are from 7-9 feet tall.

You should know that desing has caught on in the world of FPS, so the appeal is there.. >_>
But they are supposed to look ridiculous.
Top inspire fear and whatever. Artists have differing views on them though. :E
