PSU: For the fighgunners out there...

Alright...they've been called q-tips, toothpicks(by myself even), and noobsticksofuberdoom that no one with skill could use. Now we know these things are false so my fellow fighgunners, what is your favorite double saber?

The Crea doubles. Hands down no contest. Plus it even has that light saber sound when you swing it.

It looks like a darth maul double saber, and it doesn't have loli-pops spewing hearts when you kill things. And it doesn't look like a Kayak paddle like the A rank dub-sabers or the Yohmei Raikasobra.

Well it's not that us as gamers would need skill for it, more so that our character would need skill to use such a weapon but no need to get into detail ^_^

Crea Doubles for the aformentioned reasons. Sweet Death would be second for me as the Sleep effect has saved me on numerous occasions.

I've not seen it's Sleep effect work for me that often. And usually I hit the enemy right when they fall asleep so they wake up again <.<;

I noticed the effect's usefulness as I was painfully leveling Absolute Dance. A lot of times I got free hits because of that effect.

i went rucar cause thats all i have in the double saber department, but i like crea dubz too.

in all honesty i only use dbz with the long reach like the rucar and dubz. all others fail in my eyes.......... now to find more carriguine blades and crea dubz boards

The I don't like double sabers option I suppose could be to not choose an option on the poll... plus it can be your fav on looks or stats or whatever or you can just say you don't like anyway and not choose an option on the poll.

Power comes first, then looks. Double Agito in my opinion. Carriguin Rucar has way too low accuracy.

I don't know why people use Crea Doubles just because the sound and the PSO look. It is much weaker than Sweet Death unground and it doesn't have any effect (the sleep effect will help 1/100 times and that counts). Plus it's much more expensive.

crea doubles because its the only crea weapon that has any use whatsoever!

on another note,crea doubles also is very balanced while being rather easy to get. in terms of strength carriguine really is the best out there right now especially when grinded but crea doubles grinds very well also and does become stronger than sweet death if memory serves correctly. terms of looks though I hated HATED sweet deaths when they first came out but Ive seriously warmed up to them a lot. now that the boards are going for circa 100k I may pick up a few extras. totally going on a massive synthesis spree after this event.

I do like the carriguine rucar tho.

Double Agito, because YOU COULD actually use one without slicing your arms off.

Other than that, Ohsobrac, in light element. Ambient light reflects off it, and produces different colors, much like Flowen's sword.

Crea Doubles were the best when only a few people had them before AotI. As of right now they are played out because everybody and their mother has one. Rucar looks like crap in every element except light. Raikasobra too big. Double Agito too small (but rare ^_^). Sweet death has those nice hearts and sleep effect. Ohsobra looks great.

rucar looks best. i like the psychadelic swirly effects of the sweet death, not so much the hearts. i dont use one because like someone said before me, it feels too short. i still enjoy my crea doubles, but, again as mentioned before, theyve started to grow old to me.

Because, contrary to what the stat whores might want you to believe, stat whores themselves are in the vast minority. The majority of players, like myself, choose weapons based on their looks, feel, and sound, because most of us play this game for fun, and not to compete to see who can unleash the biggest numbarz.

I personally think elitists sound retarded when they argue over how inferior another weapon is because it doesn't do that extra +2 damage that their weapon does. At the end of the day, I really don't care whether or not I'm being outdamaged by a measly 50-80 points. So by all means, go ahead and keep your numbers. But I'd much rather play the game while looking badass than playing while holding a flamboyant, rainbow-coloured lolipop saber for a weapon.

SO really this argument boils down to what we love about PSU. The game allows you to have your preferance in what ever you do. Some people would rather have more attack and pay less money for it. Other like the "Feel" of certain weapons. So you like your Darth Maul double saber thats fine, but don't hate on my love stick.

Except that the 5/10 Double Agito is capable of further grinding, and your weapon is not. Also, DA has higher ATA, something your sweet death cannot top it in ever.

Also, to piss everyone off (even though it is true), I think Rucar is one of the ugliest Double Sabers. Next to Ragan-Ragan, that is.

We were always able to out perform fighgunners. No class necessarily "out performs" another class. A fighgunner can outperform a fortefighter in ranged combat but is beaten in damage per hit. But a fighgunner normally wins out in dps. A fighgunner wins in evasion, mental strength(not very important but still) and accuracy. A fortefighter wins in atp, def, and hp. Each class out performs another class somehow and that's how it should be. So please don't come into my topic and try to say your class out performs mine because I can come right back in and say ways that every class out performs another one.

I've been a Fighgunner ever since the class became available, yet I hadn't used a double saber until I recently managed to acquire three of them via the latest developments in the 350 version's economy.
