Uh......okay?

This is the WRONG place to post this, lulz. Expecting flame in about 5 posts down. Go to the official forums, and post this in the appropriate thread. You might get a better response and maybe even some communication to a mod on the matter.

Sounds like your friend made a stupid move, and instead of realizing his mistake made it worse.

So, your friend put it up for 1,111,111. The dumb ass who bought it didn't check the price carefully. He's just stupid. Your friend isn't a scammer.

Wow, that person is just being stupid for not stopping to see how much he was going to be charged. I hate how people blame others for their own stupid mistakes.

Retards. It's not your friend's fault in the slightest. Maybe if they do a re-trade he'll stop.

I don't get it. How is that in any possible way scamming ? The guy saw a 1, then 6 more... but thought his monitor was doing some serious ghosting or something and decided to ignore them ? Crazy.

Why would that guy even go into your friend's shop if it was that grossly overpriced?

I was AFK in my shop today for about an hour. I kept noticing random people coming into my room but I wasn't selling anything.

Why would he buy it if he wasn't functionally retarded?

search by condition sorts by price, if the dumbass who searched for it didn't notice it was on the bottom of the list its his fault he payed way too much. On another note, its not a scam he put it in, doesnt sega doesnt care how much you price your items. If he changed its price just as the guy went in so he didn't ntoice an extra 1, it may be a scam but it doesn't sound like was what happened.

I'm guessing the moron that bought them used Search by Name, rather than Condition.

That was my first thought. Probably the same for the people who walk in and look, but don't buy. There's bound to be people who upon first glance think "search by name" would be the fastest and not even try a condition search.

THIS GAME NEEDS COMMAS, seriously though, so many zeros, I have to stare at the prices for a minute to make sure it's 100k, and not a mil. >_>

I have to agree with you, so many times i have thought something was cheap and then in last second i reliase that extra number.

I havenīt felled for it yet, but someday you might not think about it. :S

I think the moral of this is to think of the consequences first before the deal is made. Sorry about your friend but he should've though of what would happen if he pulled a stunt like that in the first place.

why did you put the extra "1" in there if not to fool people? Bottom line is that he thought he was being cute, and other people got burned. While he is not actively scamming, he might be a scammer.

There are any number of reasons why people might be in his shop. One common trick is to have a GREAT price on a popular item, only to put the same price (on a smiliar item) which is by far worse deal. The inexperienced buyer can't believe his luck and buys both.

The correct thing to do in this situation is to actually read the numbers. Besides, if you sort by price you can see it anyway.

Anything beyond 5 digits is damn near impossible to read on this game, I fail to see how this would make it any worse. Not scamming, it's called inattentiveness.
