View Full Version : HmmmmmmFSOD, is it possible???

Well to start off I really don't care that it happened. I just wanted to see if it's possible for somebody to do it or if my GC is acting up.

Last night I just finished doing Famitsu with a couple of buddies and as I was heading back to the lobby the lobby screen came up and then froze. now I tried to reset after about a 5min wait and that didn't work. then I opened the top. Low and behold the disk wasn't even spinning.
I turned off the GC and started over. I only lost what was unequipped.

Anybody else have this problem before?

Yep, happens a lot returning to lobby, switching lobby, meeting the user, ect =>_>=;

Tis only happened to me once.....

That's strange. I have over 250hrs combined over 4 chars and this is the first time it's happened. Is it really because of the Ship/Lobby? Too many bodies in that lobby?

I have had to do it twice but I was lucky and have yet to lose anything. Both times happened before I was Lvl 20 and I an Lvl 77 now.

I hear it's more common for some than others...

stick to ships that dont have tons of people in them

once you hop into a lobby that has 99 or 105.. you take your items into your own hand..

happened to me 3 times..

now b4 leaving a game or returning to a lobby i put everything into the bank..


everything except the expendiables fluids mates and the like..


iv had equip'd stuf disappear.. but the bank is always safe..

I agree that's the best thing to do. I only lost Antidotes and Moons. No biggie. Though I don't roam in heavily traffic'd areas. I stick to Antares/8. That's my home from home.

BTW how do you put those little faces on these posts?
