I know the Chainsawd/C heals but what about other /C weapons? Can anyone answer this?

weaker Casino versions. (Can't sell/trade between players)

Chainsawd/C as in Chainsawd/Casino. Eventually we're set to get the real ones which won't have /C. http://www.pso-world.com/images/phpbb/icons/smiles/icon_wacko.gif

the /C is like a preview of the real version. Try it out and if you like it, go buy the real product later.

The "/C" designation on weapons indicates that said weapon was purchased from the casino. These weapons can't be traded/sold in your player shop/dropped on the ground. I haven't purchased one, but I heard they don't grind as well as the normal version of the weapon (see: Magical Wand vs. Magical Wand/C).

However, there are other melee weapons which have secondary effects. For example, the Deva-zashi can silence enemies and the Nei Claw replenishes around 8% of damage done back to your health!

They don't gain any ATP from grinding, but get a higher PP bonus than regular versions. I have a Varista/C ground 5 times with a PP of 927 vs. a regular Varista ground 7 times with only 861. It's really a toss up, but obviously most peeps are going to want the higher ATP that the normal versions would get.

Isn't the Spread Needle that JP got, Spread Needle/G? So maybe there'll be a normal version as a drop later on?

Sonic Team have specifically stated that Spread Needle will be released normally.
