Protranser Requirement Question

I was looking over the different classes, Seeing who could use what weapons etc. And I noticed that Protranser needed Force level 5. Now my question is if a Transer can not use techs of ANY kind then why the Force requirement to level 5? Anyone else notice this or know why?

It's not really for any real practical reason, since those 5 force levels get you the ability to use bows! I sometimes feel the designers just drew from a hat what weaponry Protransers can use.

It's mostly because most other requirement combinations were already taken.

So that you're used to playing with low HP when you begin your Protranser job. This was a much bigger deal back in ye olden days when class levels were hard to get.
